I want to take the course but I know someone mentioned a few airlines have height restrictions for hiring. Is this correct? I’m only 5’0” (with heels 5’2”- 5’4”+)

      Hi,

you can find more information about the pricing when you click on the button for the airport you want to take the course on. You need to pay for your own accommodation, but there cabin crew course providers has made arrangements with a few hotels for lower fares.

      Best of luck,

    Hi

I am currently 17 and would be interested in doing the course. I am aware that the minimum age for cabin crew is 18, but what is the minium age for the course? Are there any of these courses going after April 2015?

    Thanks!

      Hi Robyn,

sorry for the delay, I had to confirm with the training company first. They tell me BA (Heathrow Airport location) wants you to be 17+, and Thomson (for the East Midlands course) doesn’t have an age limit. So you should be fine 🙂

Also, be sure to sign up fast if you’re interested, since spots are limited and are running out quickly.

      Best of luck,

      Hi,

there are no requirements for the cabin crew course itself, but there are some education and height requirements for most airliners. You will find a general list of requirements here, but for full details you can browse through the job listings on our job board for airline jobs.

      Hi,

that shouldn’t be a problem for the course, but it is one of the requirements for the job of air hostess so you should consider that.

    Hi,
I’m a Zambian, studying hospitality management in South Africa, I’ve got tons of customer service experience, I speak fluent English, good health and eyesight, did a first aid course (that I’ll need to do again because my certificate is about to expire), 5’5″ and I love to travel. Planning on attending the course in November. But I have to ask, is accommodation provided? Also because I hold a Zambian passport will this hurt my chances of finding a job?

      Hi,

there are arrangements set up with hotels in the vicinity. If you click on the link for your preferred course location you can learn more about the accommodation. Don’t forget to book your course date on time since they run out fast!

When finding a cabin crew job you are must be allowed to work in the UK. You can read more about it in this Air Hostess requirements article.
